China has one of the best higher education systems in the world. His education has evolved together with the country’s economic development. Today, it is one of the fastest growing in the world with 2,723 centers and 31 million students.

Higher education in China is flourishing thanks in part to huge government outlays. China spent on education last year an amount equal to 3.69 percent of GDP, according to the Ministry of Finance of China.

Thus, many Chinese universities are entering in the most prestigious international rankings. Among the most important universities include Peking University (1898), University of Hangzhou (1952), Fudan University (1905), in Shanghai, and the University of Science and Technology of China (1958), in Hefei.
